Thailand cabinet approved Special Tourist Visa (STV) for tourists to stay long in Thailand country. The special tourist visa (STV) scheme allows tourists to stay for 90 days in the country, which can be further extended two times, each time with 90 days, so total 270 days can be extended under STV scheme. The cost for the visa will be 2,000 Thai baht for each 90-days visa extension.

The STV scheme is valid until 30 September 2021. It will be granted to visitors for long stay who follow with precaution and control of Covid-19 of Thailand. There will be 14 days alternative state quarantine upon their arrival for the tourists. Tourists or visitors must have accommodation proof for long stay.
