STV which stands for Special Tourist Visa will be approved and added to Thailand immigration visa list of available visas tomorrow  i.e. Monday September 28, 2020.

Basic requirements of the Special Tourist Visa.

• Special Tourist Visa will be given to very limited tourists from those countries, which has low risk for Covid-19.
• Covid-19 test must be taken 72 hours before foreign tourist will be departure from their country.
• Tourist must have health insurance including Covid-19 before they land to Thailand.
• Must have a letter sign of consent agreeing to comply with Covid-19 measures of Thailand Government.
• Minimum of 90 days
• Mandatory quarantine for 14 days at state registered quarantine hotel.
• Tourist must be travelled by Charter Plane which must have permission from CCSA.

Initially 1,200 tourists are expected to come to Thailand each month, predicted by TAT.
